I have quite a collection of bags that could accommodate the 15” MBP and all the other doodads I may need depending on the occasion. I have developed this obsession for anything made of ballistic nylon. The picture below will show you the bags I intend to use with the new MBP.
The one in the center-bottom is a waterproof Pelican 1500 for when I go scuba diving. The one on the left is a Victorinox briefcase which I often use for formal meetings and conferences. My grab bag is the one on the center, a Samsonite PRO DLX medium back pack which barely fits the MBP (the large version would have been perfect). The last bag to the right is my latest acquisition – the Waterfield sleeve case custom made for the MBP. The waterfield could be used even for formal events when I have to travel extremely light. It could be carried by itself, attached of course to a shoulder strap, or with a piggy back pouch for the battery geek power source, the pigpog pda, and cellphone. The picture below shows how the WF looks like disassembled.
There is another bag I haven’t mentioned that stays chained inside the vehicle. The Roadwired Roadster Convertible Rolling case shown below with its 36 pockets carries everything I may need to setup a mobile office.
Believe it or not, the items below all fit inside this one bag.
I will end this subject here lest I be accused of being afflicted with the same sickness as that fellow with 7,000 pairs of shoes.
Saw your site while googling for laptop bags. Haha... Your collection is Imeldific. :p
