I am slowly conditioning myself not having my tablet PC for handwritten notes. And in searching for alternatives other than the Filofax, I came across the PigpogPDA. The system perfectly suits my style since I only basically need a container for all of my handwritten notes. The system is in fact even better since I have configured the 1st 20 front pages for my “processed notes” and in the back pages a to-do list generated from all my notes.
Anywhere I search, the moleskine large ruled notebook comes highly recommended for this purpose. But these are only available, or so I thought, from a seller in the UK or again through Amazon which happens to be back ordered. And so I bought the highest quality notebook (P120.00) from a local bookstore and started to configure my new tablet PC replacement.
Today, while trying to look for more Mac OS X reference books at FULLYBOOKED in Rockwell, guess what I found in one of the shelves? A very nice, extremely elegant leather bound, 240 ruled page Moleskine. It may be 10 times the price of my first notebook, but it would have cost me the same if ordered from Amazon. I paid P1,250.00 or roughly US$25.00 but it was well worth it.
I will not bother go into the details of my newfound pen and paper system, you can read all about the Pigpog PDA here.
